Anonymous asked: "You’re talking about entities whose only function is to weaken the effectiveness of the stories that are being crafted by so many people—and all for their own profit, It’s not true." Dude how is it weakening someone's story by pointing out the decline of the properties you don't have the rights to? You even said , you don't get 100% so you don't make those items. That is truthful!!, that's what the public should be told not pointing out you still make X-Men comics and that should suffice.

Okay, let’s make this part of the conversation about DC, so that we’re both standing on neutral ground.

Rumor sites disclosed the fact that DC was going to relocate ahead of their internal timetable for doing so. This had an immediate impact on everybody at that company—the folks who needed to scramble and roll out a plan that was not yet ready and ratified, and all of the employees who suddenly had to worry about their employment. How was any of that in the public interest?

Rumor sites have spent months teasing and dropping information, right and wrong, about DC’s CONVERGENCE project, well ahead of when the people actually crafting that project intended to roll it out. Again, who is that in the service of? It sure isn’t those creators, and it sure isn’t DC.

You give them a pass because you love knowing all of this juicy insider stuff—whether it’s correct or not. But it’s pretty appalling. CONVERGENCE isn’t going to be a better book because its roll-out was dinged, and the incredibly difficult process of relocating a company across the country wasn’t made any easier by telling people before the situation was ready to be announced to them.

This shit weakens the stories. To say nothing about fucking with people’s lives.
