Anonymous asked: The rumor about the cancellation of the X-men line is not insane, it's troubling. Marvel Comics is owned by Disney, and MC's profits have to be a mere drop in the bucket compared to the money the movies and related merchandise bring in. Would losing the X-men line of comics make any real difference to an entity as massive as Disney? It would not. And by unloading the X-men comics line, you will no longer be promoting movies that compete with Disney at the box office. X-men fans are screwed.
You have very strange and unrealistic ideas about how the world works. To say nothing of an imperfect if not flat-out incorrect understanding of the situation, the various deals that are in place, and so forth.
So continue to fear the fall of the sky if you want—it’s your time and energy that you’re wasting on it, after all.
But you look a little silly starting upwards all the time.
